Emergency OverviewCAUTION! EDTA - Edetic Acid MAY BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. MAY CAUSE IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES, AND RESPIRATORY TRACT
Potential Health Effects
Inhalation: EDTA - Edetic Acid is Mild irritant.
Ingestion: EDTA has low toxicity by ingestion.
Skin Contact: Can cause redness and pain.
Eye Contact: Can cause redness and pain.
4. First Aid Measures
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get Medical advice.Ingestion: Give several glasses of water to drink to dilute the effect and get medical advice.
Skin Contact: Remove any contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash soap or mild detergent and water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Get medical attention.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
