Tin(IV) oxide or Tin dioxide, also known as stannic oxide, is the inorganic compound with the formula SnO2.
It is used FOR Polishing glass & metals, as mordant on printing & dyeing fabrics, enamels etc. Tin (IV) oxide can be used as a polishing powder and several other uses. Stannic oxide is also used as a mordant for dyeing fabrics and as a weighting agent.
