SDS MSDS Sheet of Diverting Agent Manufacturers
Spanish Desvío de agentes para fracturamiento hidráulico
for Hydraulic Fracturing
In the USA, UAE, Iran Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other oil producing areas, several hundred chemical compounds are used in hydraulic fracturing also called fracking, fracing or frac. In some areas like UK only 'Non-Hazardous' chemicals are permitted for fracturing fluids by the Environment Agency. All chemicals have to be declared publicly and increasingly, food additive based chemicals are available to allow fracking to take place safely.
Mubychem is an internationally preferred source for Stimulation Chemicals and Hydraulic Fracturing Chemicals. We serve various oil and shale gas producing countries like USA UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UK, Europe India etc. We are never too far from your well-site with multiple 24/7 company owned or rented warehouses in the India, USA and across the globe. With customers in several countries, we sell almost all the fracturing chemicals.
We manufacture a few types of Diverting Agents for Hydraulic Fracturing. PLA based diverting agent is commonly used for higher temperatures. Other diverting agents are based on Phthalic acid, EDTA. BPA etc. It can be broadly classed as Low Temperature and High Temperature Diverting Agent.
The most frequently used one is as under:
DA-355 is a high molecular weight polymer designed to be used as a high temperature flow diverting agent for use in stimulation applications in oil and gas fractures. DA-355 can be used with acids, linear & cross linked gels and slickwater for high temperature applications.
DA-355 is used for sealing perforations, existing fractures and natural fractures. It can be used to protect producing zones during work-over operations. It permits treatment of zones with porosity differences and separates the total treatment zone into stages. DA-355 diverting agent is offered in tight particle size distributions like 10/30, 30/70, 70/120 or mixtures thereof. Larger sized particles permit bridging and smaller sized particles bridge across the larger particles, forming a low permeability zone.
DA-355 is extremely poorly soluble in water below 140 deg F. At formation temperatures above 175 deg F, DA-355 will hydrolyze in to water and condensate soluble products. Typical half life of DA-355 is 2 weeks at bottom hole conditions.
DA-355 will bridge perforations and slots as wide as 0.35 inches. Typical usage is between 10 to 20 lbs per perforation.
Helps distribute treating fluids uniformly in the zone
Helps control gels to perform multiple fractures
Dissolves completely post treatment, leaving no residue behind
Can be used up to 355 deg F Bottom Hole Temperatures
TYPICAL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES - SPECIFICATIONS
Appearance: White Solid
Specific Gravity: ~1.25
50 lb bags; 1,000 lb supersacks
Not DoT regulated for transport. Refer MSDS before use.
DA-355 is compatible with all known frac fluids. A compatibility test is advised before use with anionic and amphoteric additives.
Global from Houston, TX-USA, Midland, TX-USA, Dubai, UAE, & Mumbai, India
DA-LT: Low Temperature Diverting Agent
DA-LT is a diverting agent for use in stimulation applications. DA-LT can be used with acids, linear gels and slickwater for high temperature applications. Compatibility tests are needed with cross-linked gels, as DA-LT might delay the crosslinking time.
DA-LT is used for sealing existing fractures and natural fractures. It can be used to protect producing zones during workover operations. It permits treatment of zones with porosity differences and separates the total treatment zone into stages. DA-LT diverting agent is offered in tight particle size distributions or mixtures thereof. Larger sized particles permit bridging and smaller sized particles bridge across the larger particles, forming a low permeability zone.
DA-LT is extremely poorly soluble in water below 90 deg F. At formation temperatures between 90 and 175 deg F, DA-LT will slowly dissolve in water and condensate.
DA-LT will soon be offered in a PSD for re-fracs, to bridge perforations and slots as wide as 0.35 inches.
DA-LT is added on the fly, be offered in a PSD for re-fracs, to bridge perforations and slots as wide as 0.35 inches.
Helps distribute treating fluids uniformly in the zone
